At the Research Institute of Brewing and Malting, we focus on education and the advancement of professional knowledge. Our educational programs are led by qualified instructors with extensive theoretical and practical experience. We offer courses both for industry professionals (such as laboratory practice or microbiological training) and for the general public (tasting and sensory seminars, retraining courses). All our programs are regularly updated to reflect current industry needs and the latest scientific findings.

Our courses are primarily conducted in Czech. However, for larger groups or corporate clients, we are happy to arrange special courses in English upon prior agreement. Whether you’re an international company operating in the Czech Republic or a group of English-speaking enthusiasts, we can tailor the content to suit your needs.

Courses can be held at our institute or, by arrangement, directly in your city or company premises. Our seminars and workshops also make unique and thoughtful gifts or can enrich employee and client benefit programs.

TASTING COURSES

We organize tasting courses and seminars focused on beer sensory evaluation – that is, its taste, aroma, and appearance. The courses are designed for beer lovers without professional knowledge as well as for industry professionals. We are experts in beer sensory evaluation and will teach you how to taste beer properly and recognize its quality.

Tailor-Made Courses and Seminars

In addition to our standard training programs, we offer the option to design custom seminars and courses tailored to your specific needs and interests. Whether you are looking for a focused technical session, an extended multi-day training, or a thematic seminar for your team or clients, we are ready to prepare a program that suits your goals. Custom courses can be arranged in various lengths and levels of complexity, depending on your requirements. This service is available for groups of at least 12 participants. Courses can take place at our institute or directly at your company premises or preferred location, by prior agreement.
